Violent Altercation Leaves Three Injured in Vienna-Floridsdorf

A heated argument between five men in an apartment on Leopoldauer Strasse ended in a bloody altercation on Sunday afternoon in Vienna-Floridsdorf, leaving three men with serious injuries, one of whom is fighting for his life. Two suspects have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The Vienna professional rescue service received an emergency call at noon and immediately dispatched an ambulance to the scene. Upon arriving, paramedics found three men with stab wounds to their upper bodies, including one who was critically injured and another who was seriously hurt. The victims, all men between the ages of 24 and 26, were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. A rescue helicopter was also called in to assist with the operation.

The police have yet to release details about the nature of the dispute and the events leading up to the violence. The Vienna State Criminal Police Office, northern branch, has taken over the investigation into this incident in Vienna-Floridsdorf.

All five men involved in the altercation are believed to be Syrian nationals. The police have not released any further information about the suspects or the victims.

Violent incidents involving knives are not uncommon in Vienna, with a recent surge in knife-related crimes sparking concerns among the authorities. The police have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.

In light of the recent incident, it is important to remember that violence is never the answer to resolving disputes. It is crucial to seek out peaceful solutions and to avoid escalating conflicts to avoid putting oneself and others in danger.
