President George W. Bush speaks at local business about the state of the economy

"It's not an easy problem, no question about it. It's tough times." said President George W. Bush as he addressed a group of of small business leaders at Guernsey Office Products in Chantilly Tuesday, Oct. 7. "I wish I could snap my fingers and make what happened stop, but that's not the way it works." Bush tried to reassure the people that the rescue package passed by Congress last week will slowly turn the economy around. “I have faith this economy will recover over time, and when it does, you'll be able to take advantage of an expanding economy.”
