Public input sought for area watersheds

A public meeting regarding watershed management plans for Johnny Moore Creek and Little Rocky Run will be held Oct. 1 at Centreville Elementary School cafeteria, 14330 Green Trails Blvd., from 7 to 9 p.m.

The meeting is part of an ongoing process to develop comprehensive watershed management plans for each of the 30 watersheds in the county. A Watershed Advisory Group -- made up of representatives from neighborhoods, businesses, conservation and other groups -- will be formed after the meeting.

For more information call 703-324-5500 or go to www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dpwes/watersheds.
