Mason Neck Trail gets additional funding

To preserve a federal grant that would otherwise have been lost, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors voted Monday to allocate the $450,000 grant plus a $112,500 county match to the Mason Neck Trail project. The partially constructed trail runs along Gunston Road in the southern part of the county, connecting Mason Neck State Park, Gunston Hall and Pohick Bay Regional Park.
