Fairfax Symphony makes transition

The board of directors for the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra announced the election of a new president and the appointment of a new executive director.

Jose "Pepe" Figueroa took the helm as president, replacing Gerald Gordon. Figueroa has named Elizabeth Murphy as executive director. Murphy was previously managing director of the Fairfax Choral Society.
