Three charged for armed robbery

Three people have been charged in connection with an armed robbery and assault that took place Sunday, June 29, at l:50 a.m. near the intersection of Patrick Henry Drive and Arlington Boulevard.

According to Fairfax County Police, an 18-year-old man from the Falls Church area was walking near his home in the 6100 block of Arlington Boulevard when he allegedly encountered three people. One pointed a gun at him, hit him with the gun several times and took his wallet and shoes. The suspects ran away towards the Seven Corners area. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.A short time later, suspects were located nearby. Police charged Justin D. Tillery, of 16700 Harwood Oaks Court, Dumfries and Brandon L. Miller, 19, of 13703 Joyce Road, Woodbridge with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and malicious wounding. Keisha A.
