Lorton bank robbed

FRIDAY, AUGUST 1 2008

On the afternoon of Thursday, July 31, the Chevy Chase Bank at 8981 Ox Road in Lorton was robbed.

At 3:45 p.m., the suspect, a white man in his 20s, wearing a white T-shirt over his face, entered the bank with a handgun.

The suspect ordered the teller to hand over money. An undisclosed amount was taken.

No one was hurt.
