Freestyle Writing Session 1

When I've got the writers block, I start writing. Not about anything in particular, I just write. I guess it is my way of getting the creative juices flowing. Here is an example of a freestyle writing session. It will be crazy and random, and probably not make any sense.

Here we go. No edits, just writing.

I'm listening to Huey Lewis. I always thought that I was different. One of my many vices is eighties music. Damn me and my eighties childhood. I am more aware of the later eighties. Good bye Huey, hello Bobby Brown. Try to battle my boys, that's not legal. All on our own, from the Ghostbusters 2 soundtrack. If you've read my stuff before, you'll probably notice that I use a lot of movie references. If you are able to pick them all up, pat yourself on the back because I subconsciously put them in my writing. What is the deal with Bobby Brown and why is he still in the media. And why in the hell does he have a show with Carney Wilson. Poor Carney, putting all that weight back on. Wasn't she the poster child for gastric bypass? Maybe she'll be the first to go through it again.

I think this continuous stream of consciousness is going well, I'm sure it's boring for everyone else but I'm having a blast. Oh, I almost forgot. I went to COSTCO again today and it was as good as ever. Funny thing, I bumped into someone I used to work with and he said that he read my blog about COSTCO. It's amazing how many people share my feelings. I'm not the only one out there, I feel so loved. I wonder if I could be a COSTCO tour guide. They could give me a golf cart with a few passenger carts. I'd stand at the front and say "and on your left is Wanita, everyone say hi to Wanita, what are we having today? Oh it looks like, all natural, fat free yogurt. Keep up the good work, let's move on." Man, that would be great. By the way, if it was all natural, how could it be fat free?

Well, that's it, I've lost it. That took about 8 minutes from start to finish. Let me read through it and see how craptacular it is. Wow, that sucks. There are a few gems in there but not enough to read it again.

You know what I said earlier about the creative juices? I think when you become really creative the juice is pure but what I've got is more of a sludge.
